For colder months

Custom hoodies

A custom hoodie is a hooded jumper with your logo on the chest, sleeve, or back. A crewneck is the same idea without a hood. Use them for winter staff clothing, clubs, or anything people will wear when it is cold. Unitix makes hoodies and crewnecks in Australia.

Key takeaways

  • Custom hoodies are warm jumpers made with your logo. A crewneck is the same order, just without a hood.
  • Most people put a small logo on the chest, printed or stitched. A large design across the back is fine too. Tell us if you want both.
  • A stitched logo (embroidery) lasts well if people wash the hoodie all winter. Print is better for photos and busy designs.
  • Unitix makes hoodies and crewnecks in Australia. For warmer weather, see custom t-shirts. High-visibility fleece for a worksite is custom workwear.

Hoodie or crewneck

Both are in our hoodies and crewnecks range. For most orders you only need to choose whether you want a hood.

  • Hoodie: the usual choice. People wear it to work and on the weekend. We often start with the heavyweight hoodie.
  • Crewneck: neater at a desk or on stage, because there is no hood and no drawstring. The heavyweight crewneck is the same weight of cotton, without the hood.
  • Zip or pullover: a zip goes over a shirt. A pullover is worn on its own. Say which you want, because the logo sits differently next to a zip.

These are regular branded hoodies. If someone needs to be seen on a road or a worksite, use the hi-vis zip hoodie on the workwear page.

Print or embroidery

Hoodie fabric is thick, so very small text is hard to read either way. Keep the logo simple.

When to order a hoodie

Order hoodies when people will actually wear a warm layer: winter staff clothing, a club or campus sale, a warehouse that stays cold, or an event that needs more than a t-shirt. Order a custom t-shirt when you want the same design on something lighter for warm weather.

To quote, we need to know who will wear it, whether you want a hood or a crewneck, whether the logo is printed or stitched (and where it sits), and how many of each size. We then show a mock-up on the real colour. A grey logo disappears on charcoal. A cream logo disappears on a light hoodie.

  • One main logo is usually enough. A chest logo plus a large back print is two pieces of work, so say if you want both.
  • If the hoodie will be worn with a polo, stitching both logos usually looks more consistent.
  • Approve the mock-up, then browse hoodies and crewnecks.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I print a custom hoodie in Australia?+
Unitix prints and embroiders hoodies in Australia. Crewnecks are in the same range. Melbourne and interstate orders use the same process.
Can you customize your own hoodie?+
Yes. You send the logo or artwork, and we put it on a hoodie or a crewneck. For a stitched logo, send a logo file from design software, not a screenshot of your website.
How much is a custom made hoodie?+
It depends on the hoodie, whether we print or stitch the logo, and how many you need. There is no single shelf price. Ask from hoodies and crewnecks once you have those details.
