Workwear

Custom workwear and hi-vis

Custom workwear is branded clothing for the people who keep sites, depots, roads and warehouses running, from the crew on the tools to the supervisor on the phone. Unitix supplies workwear, starting with a hi-vis range of tees, polos, singlets, fleece and vests, finished with your logo in embroidery or screen print. Choose your garments, add your logo and approve a draft before anything goes into production.

Hi-vis workwear by job and weather

Every hi-vis garment in this range is listed as day use safety wear that conforms to AS/NZS 4602.1:2011 Class D. Pick the garment for the work and the weather, then the colour.

  • Tee: single-colour fluoro in CoolDry mini waffle, with mesh panels under the arms.
  • Singlet: two-tone TrueDry, with a polyester face and a cotton back.
  • Polo: a collar for supervisors and client-facing crews, in two-tone CoolDry micro-mesh, with short sleeves or long sleeves for cooler mornings.
  • Fleece: 320gsm two-tone fleece for cold starts, as a full zip hoodie with two hand warmer pockets or a half zip sweat with a collar.
  • Vest: for crews who already wear their own shirts and only need visibility and a logo, with a full velcro front.

The tee and vest come in plain fluoro yellow or orange. The two-tone styles pair fluoro yellow or orange with navy, and the polos and singlet also come in fluoro yellow with bottle.

Embroidery or screen print

Every garment here takes embroidery or screen print. Embroidery suits a simple logo and comes in five sizes, from 5 x 5 cm up to 10 x 10 cm. Screen print takes up to six colours on one side or on the front and back, which suits a bold logo or a large back print people can read from a distance.

Planning a workwear order

Send a size list for each garment rather than one size for the whole crew, and add a few spares for new starters. Use a clean vector logo and check the draft on the real garment colour, because fluoro yellow and orange change how a logo reads. If contractors and staff need to stand apart, give each group its own colour. If your site has rules on logo size or placement on hi-vis, put them in the order notes.

Workwear beyond hi-vis

Not everyone on the team needs fluoro. Office and showroom staff often wear a branded polo or shirt from custom t-shirts and shirts, and kitchen and front-of-house teams are covered in custom hospitality wear. Round out a site kit with custom workwear socks, which have a reinforced heel and toe.
